We pride ourselves in enabling people to realise their ambitions. Our Private Guiding Service caters for this with specific objectives in mind, Whether you are an individual or a group of friends, contact us and we will arrange a programme to suit you. The cost of a Guide is £200 per day plus £10 for each additional person. The Guides expenses will be shared by the group.

ALPINE PREPARATION WEEKENDS

The Alps can be a hostile environment in which mistakes can at best mean failure on a climb and at worst, could lead to life threatening situations. Whether you are going with a group of friends or attending a course, good preparation is essential to help you make the most of your Alpine mountaineering holiday.

Our intensive weekend, based in the Lake District, covers all aspects of the Alpine experience from mountain hut etiquette to crevasse rescue. This will include: Alpine rope work, belays, moving together, abseiling, prussiking, hoisting systems, avalanche theory, guide books, acclimatisation and insurance, all backed up with videos and practical sessions. We'll provide everything except the glaciers!
