How it worked

The Lake District was seen at it’s very best, swaying daffodils, cotton wool clouds skimming across an azure sky. Teams rotated around a course of fun light-hearted challenges, which took between 5 minutes and 20 minutes each. Competition was fierce, with the help of a pail and water, old scores were settled and there were many hilarious scenes along the way. Lunch was taken at Cragwood House with views across the Lake District fells. In the afternoon, teams strolled down to the Windermere’ shores and constructed their own catamaran style rafts for the Hawaii Five-O challenge. The winners enjoyed champagne served by Jeeves in the middle of the lake. After dinner at the legendary Mortal Man restaurant spoof prizes were awarded, justly and unjustly, acts of bravery and folly were mentioned in dispatches.
