How it worked

The afternoon started with the group being collected from their hotel and taken to the Tower of Terror situated in our grounds. Delegates were then set the challenge of climbing a 40’ telegraph pole, standing on the top and then taking a leap of faith to hit a ball hanging just our of arms reach.

The group then moved on to the Tree Abseil were delegates had to climb to the top of the 75’ tree before ‘free abseiling’ down under the watchful eye of our instructors.

To finish the afternoon the group took to the lake in Viking designed raiding boats, traditionally built in the Shetlands. Dressed in horned helmets and beards, the team perfected their rowing skills before heading out onto the lake for some good old Viking action.
