How it worked

Another perfect summer's day in the Lake District. The Knockout Contest was billed as light entertainment but as usual it was all-out war as teams battled to score maximum points . Those who fell from their homemade craft into the water during the Hawaii Five-O challenge enjoyed a refreshingly cool dip, a rare experience for Lake Windermere.
