    * To highlight the importance of customer service, especially in the face of intense time pressure.
    * To reinforce key conference themes using aircraft as a metaphor
    * To have fun!

How it worked

An aviation themed conference staged in the viewing gallery of Jersey Airport. 130 delegates were checked in at 8.30 am with boarding passes and seated into teams. Presentations were interspersed with Eclipse activity phases and teams were tasked to build a life size biplane inside the viewing gallery (Chocks Away! link). Four completed Sopwith Camels were presented to their grateful customers at the close of the conference.
