Objectives

    * To re-energise and motivate the staff
    * To promote the development of an effective, cross functional, team working culture
    * To develop a sense of "one team"
    * To allow teams from a variety of disciplines across the business to address a specific and relevant business issue and to present their proposals/solutions

How it worked

The day started with the group arriving in a coach at Briery Wood. After a quick introduction the day kicked off with the Knockout Contest, which consisted of a variety of fun tasks designed to promote communication and team work.

After lunch the group set off to complete the Orienteering challenge set in the grounds of Briery Wood. The afternoon culminated in the Hawaii Five-O Raft Race on Windermere before returning to the hotel for a celebration drinks. A spoof awards ceremony was held after dinner.
