The Event

The AAPT annual Business Retail Sales Conference, for 150 of their National Sales Staff.

The Approach

AAPT worked in close partnership with Eclipse, Impact’s Total Event Management Division to manage all aspects of putting the conference together.

This started with the theme of the conference, ‘Straight Up & Personal’, it was designed to enhance the AAPT brand strategy of ‘Tell it like it is’ and to reinforce the AAPT brand values of ‘Smart, Irreverent, Energetic and Genuine.

The theme was central to the success of the conference and played an important part when putting together and designing the key elements, these included:

- Business presentations and product sessions that helped to highlight real life examples of AAPT staff members living the brand values.

- A series of group energiser activities that got everyone up on their feet and moving around between presentations.

- A professional MC who helped in linking the business presentations together and kept the audience engaged.

- A variety of social activities and evenings to allow people to get to know each other better & to have some fun.

- A team-building activity for all staff from across the business to work together to construct and then create a sales & marketing pitch for a fleet of life size super cars

- A gala dinner on the final night where AAPT staff were recognised and rewarded through a series of presentations to the top achievers.

The Result

The event enabled the AAPT Business Retail Sales Staff to get know one another better, to share experiences and to build on their relationships through an enjoyable and motivating experience.

The conference was a catalyst for individuals making the brand values personal and turning the brand strategy ‘Tell it like it is’ into real actions that can be used day-to-day back in the business.
